Background:

In late 2021, Ethos of Engagement Consulting conducted formative research to support Plan Timor-Leste develop regenerative agriculture programs in remote and rural communities. Our consultants visited communities to survey their current level of knowledge and awareness of regenerative and sustainable agriculture technologies. We conducted a gender analysis of women’s barriers and opportunities in the agricultural sector, and we analysed new opportunities, such as renewable energy and carbon market participation.

Purpose:

Plan International work in Timor-Leste to support communities build climate change resilience, youth and women’s leadership.
