EoE’s consultation work in Guayana was performed on a volunteer basis as organizational development consultants. Our consultants worked with four groups to build achievement capacity within each group. EoE provided support and training for the four groups based on their initial assessments. EoE was able to engage with local producers to build community capacity by assisting local producers to secure a level of confidence and security in the process of development. We worked collaboratively with Trafalgar Women’s Cooperative, West Berbice Sheep and Goat Association, and the Shade House Project to identify areas of strength and areas for improvement as well developing a set of recommendations for achieving organizational goals.
